You need a sexy midriff like Deepika’s to carry off a crop top. These super-short tees and tops are best worn with high-waist jeans or pants and a cool belt. Deepika paired her crop tops with track pants and dhoti pants for dance rehearsal.

Prints on ethnic Indian wear are not restricted to paisleys and Indian flowers anymore—there are bold multi-hued florals, abstracts, geometric patterns and even African tribal prints on kurtas now. I especially loved Deepika’s white kurta with a bright floral splash.

Refreshing colour palette
Like any feel-good Bollywood movie, the colours were bright and happy. Deepika’s off-stage kurtas and tees are from the citrus family- lemon and orange, with a hint of peach.
