I saw Shazahn Padamsee at the Zara sale couple weeks ago. Petite and cute, she was dressed in jeans and layered tshirts. She looked like the girl-next-door, but someone the guys would want to see again. 🙂
Shazahn has been promoting her latest film Dil toh baccha hai ji all over the country, and we’ve been quietly making notes on Shazahn’s sense of style. It’s refreshing to watch a girl with no airs or attitude getting her share of the limelight. While we think that Shazahn is style icon material, it’s up to her and her PR machinery to see whether they want to make her famous just for wearing good clothes. (Ring a bell, anyone?)
Here’s our take on the young lass’s style statement:
Outfits
Shazahn has got a very down-to-earth sense of style. She wears clothes that you or I would wear, or want to wear. And most of the time, she’s bang on trend!
Our favourite outfit: Shazahn manages to don a certain attitude when needed, like in this red polka dot dress from French Connection, which was a tricky one to pull off.
Accessories
We’ve also noted that Shazahn prefers minimal accessories, but ensures her selection is in tune with current trends—statement necklace and oversized bag/ clutch.
Our favourite accessory: The leopard print clutch Shazahn carried to the music launch of Dil toh baccha hai ji. (We wrote about the leopard prints trend recently).
Makeup
Shazahn’s day makeup is usually minimal—a good base, and lots of lip gloss. For the evening, she opts for a dewy look, which is a Speaking Chic favourite. Our two bits of advice: Shazahn, you look great, but be very very careful that you don’t go overboard!
Our favourite makeup: Smokey eyes!
